We are a faith-driven community dedicated to guiding individuals in effectively preparing for and running marathons according to God’s guidance, relying solely on the direction received from the Holy Spirit.
How We Run with Purpose
Our aim is to instruct individuals in the art of effectively preparing for and running a Marathon in alignment with God’s will, relying completely on the guidance received from the Holy Spirit. Through our program, participants are not only equipped with the physical training necessary for the marathon journey but are also nurtured spiritually, learning to discern and follow the divine direction in their running endeavors.
We believe that the principles learned in this journey extend far beyond the realm of running. By relying on the wisdom and guidance imparted by the Holy Spirit during their marathon preparation, participants are empowered to apply these teachings to other areas of their lives. These principles become a foundation for decision-making, goal-setting, and overcoming challenges in various aspects of life, fostering a deeper connection with God and a more purposeful existence.

Our Mission and Values
Our purpose is to teach individuals how to effectively prepare and to run a Marathon God’s way, solely relying on direction received from the Holy Spirit. Participants are empowered to take methods and teachings endowed from God and apply them to other areas of their lives.
We train individuals from all fitness levels to effectively run a marathon and or half-marathon. We train on mind renewal, gear, running, exercise, nutrition and many other areas. All training is based and centered on biblical principles combined with science and philosophies utilizing proven techniques that create outstanding rewards. Our goal is to transform lives and to empower individuals to take control of their health and fitness. We teach life transforming techniques that last a life time not FADs.
Our Story
The Kingdom Running Club of Living Word Christian Center was started in 2003 and is entering into its 21st training season. Runners from the KRC have completed marathons in over 50 states and 5 countries, and 4 continents. Our Runners have participated in Marathons, Ultra-Marathons, Half-Marathons, Ironman, Half-Ironman, the Disney Goody Challenge, Triathlons, Ragnar 200 mile relays, and 15, 10 and 5K’s.
Overview
Kingdom Running Club (KRC) offers a 9-month training program (for ages 16 & older) that combines both Education and Fitness Training in preparation to run a Marathon held annually during the months September and October. The program is also available to 14 years and above training for the Half-Marathon that is held in July or August.
Starting in 2023, Kingdom Running Club (KRC) is excited to announce the addition of a Health and Wellness component to our offerings. We recognize the importance of holistic well-being, beyond just physical endurance, and are dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to improved health and fitness. Our 2 ½ month foundational program is open to all who aspire to lead healthier, more active lifestyles, regardless of whether they plan to participate in our marathon training program. This 10-week initiative serves as a gateway to a healthier lifestyle, providing participants with the tools and knowledge needed to take control of their health and fitness goals. Throughout the program, individuals will receive expert guidance on exercise, nutrition, and overall wellness. They will have the opportunity to learn alongside our marathon participants, benefiting from a supportive community atmosphere that fosters growth and development.
